The reliable GF5R 5-Speed Transmission, adapted for use with reverse rotation B and H-series engines allows anybody utilizing a rear drive combination to use Honda engine technology with a standard, no hassle driveline. Currently G-Force Transmissions is the only company manufacturing a rear-drive transmission for these Honda engines.

The GF5R 5-speed has become the transmission of choice of top competitors in drag racing, road racing as well as other forms of racing. This compact transmission is capable of handling over 1300 horsepower at RPM exceeding 14,000. The GF5R was developed using a split case design for fast and easy maintenance. All gears utilize only 9310 ultra high quality steel, ground with a crowned profile after heat treating for exceptional smoothness. Other features include bearing supports for added stiffness and sturdiness, rail fork design and interchangeable gears.
